Al-Hamli reviews the mechanism of work of rehabilitation laboratories and centers at Al Yateem Foundation in Sana’a.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, and a number of representatives and officials of international organizations, reviewed today the work mechanism in the centers, departments and laboratories of the Al-Yateem Development Foundation in Sana’a.
During the visit, the Secretary-General of SCMCHA, and his companions from the Director of the Al-Yateem Foundation, Majed Azzan, listened to an explanation of the work mechanism in the institution’s production factories, which include cotton clothes, leather, bags, aluminium, carpentry, and others, as well as the work mechanism of the production departments for local products of leather and clothing. The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council explained that the visit comes within the framework of keenness to learn about the organization’s needs and to work with organizations to implement a number of projects to bring orphans to production and self-reliance.
He considered the production of cotton, leather and other clothing an excellent step that contributes to increasing local production, leading to achieving self-sufficiency.
He appreciated the role played by the Al-Yateem Foundation and its qualitative leap in rehabilitating technical and vocational training centres.
Al-Hamli pointed out the importance of the role of UN, international and local organizations in supporting these centers that produce people capable of production.
He called on the organizations to allocate part of their funds to support Al Yateem Foundation.
During the visit, he was accompanied by a number of SCMCHA officials and representatives of international and local organizations.
