Discussion around the mechanism for the distribution of diesel material and procedures for completing the food security survey.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Abdu Mohsen Abdullah Tawoos, met on Tuesday with the Resident Representative of the World Food Program, Laurent Boukira.
During the meeting, which was attended by UNICEF representatives ,Sara Nyanti ,and World Health ,Altaf Musani, there was discussion around the mechanism of distributing diesel material according to the actual need plan and correcting the distribution mechanism according to the need plan provided so that the distribution contributes to alleviating the suffering caused by fuel shortages on facilities Medical and service.
On the other hand, the meeting discussed the problems that prevent the completion of the food security survey process, which will contribute of improving the livelihoods of food for those citizen who suffer of insecure food on the one hand , and which will depend on it in the process of determining the actual need of beneficiaries on the other.
In the meeting, the Secretary-General of the Council stressed the importance of effective and transparent partnership between working parties in the humanitarian field.
He also explained that all parties either authority or organizations are part of the same team that seeks to achieve a common goal of alleviating the existing human suffering caused by the aggression and its Continuous blockade.
WFP Resident Representative, Laurent Bokira, also appreciate the active partnership that should be made to make further progress which contributs the development of the coordination aspect and opening up wider areas for the development of humanitarian work.
