Al-Hamli meets with representatives and officials of UN, international and local organizations in Hodeidah, Hajjah and Al-Mahwit governorates..

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, met today with representatives, officials and employees of UN, international and local organizations in Al Hodeidah, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, and Raymah governorates.

The meeting focused on discussing topics related to humanitarian work in accordance with laws and establishment decisions, through SCMCHA, which is the highest administrative authority responsible for managing and coordinating humanitarian affairs and international cooperation in Yemen, and which works with the United Nations and all organizations in all stages of humanitarian work.

Al-Hamli shighlighted the importance of organizations improving their work and responsibilities towards the Yemeni people, noting that SCMCHA seeks to localize humanitarian work.

He indicated that all organizations are under periodic evaluation by SCMCHA for all their performance, whether positive or negative, indicating that any organization will be excluded if its performance is negative, and it does not provide any service to the Yemeni citizen except by paying its operational expenses.

He warned organizations against carrying out political and sabotage actions, through projects or employees, in implementation of an external agenda under the umbrella of humanitarian work.

The Secretary-General of SCMCHA confirmed the importance of awareness and a sense of responsibility towards the country, on the part of all employees of organizations, especially local ones, and not yielding to material temptations and sacrificing the security and safety of the country.

He pointed out the keenness of the leadership and SCMCHA to stabilize humanitarian work, taking into account the aspect related to the security, stability, values, culture and identity of the Yemeni people. Pointing out that SCMCHA rejects any destructive activities that affect the identity and culture of the Yemeni people, and the security and sovereignty of the country.

The meeting was attended by Director of Monitoring and Evaluation of SCMCHA, Muhammad Al-Razza, Director of international organizations, Turki Jamil, Director of local organizations, Abdul Salam Al-Nawab, and Directort of SCMCHA branches in Hodeidah, Jaber Al-Razhi, Hajjat ​​Allan Fadael, Al-Mahwit, Mutahar Sharaf Al-Din, Rayma, and Hilal Al-Haddad.

The Secretary-General of SCMCHA met yesterday with employees of UN, international and local organizations in the governorates of Ibb, Taiz and Al-Dhalea to discuss issues related to humanitarian work in accordance with Yemeni laws .
