The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, met today with officials and employees of local organizations in the capital secretariat.
During the meeting, in the the presence of the Head of the Planning and Evaluation Department in SCMCHA, Ali Al-Kahlani, a number of topics related to humanitarian work and organizations, and their responsibilities towards the Yemeni people, were discussed.
Al-Hamli appreciated the role of local organizations, which have advanced their institutions, built the capabilities of their employees, and have become comparable to international organizations. praising the organizations that respond to calls to quickly provide humanitarian aid.
He confirmed the importance of organizations to adhere to national laws, noting that the security and sovereignty of Yemen and the customs, culture and identity of the Yemeni people are red lines that anyone who crosses them will be subject to legal accountability.
The Secretary-General of SCMCHA highlighted the importance of local organizations sensing their responsibility towards Yemen, not succumbing to material temptations, and sacrificing the security and safety of the homeland by implementing activities and projects that contradict the values of Yemeni society, and without the approval of the Supreme Council.
He pointed out the keenness of the leadership and SCMCHA on the stability of humanitarian work, taking into account the aspect related to the security, stability, values, culture and identity of the Yemeni people.
He urged the importance of paying attention to institutional building, work on qualifying local cadres, and enhance the culture of work for the benefit of the homeland and the Yemeni people.
