Discussion of humanitarian activities of international organizations.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, AbdulMohsen Tawoos, today discussed with a number of international organizations the projects that it has implemented during the past period.
The meeting, which attended by the Resident Representative of Islamic Relief, Mohammed Zulkarnain, Director of Child Care Welfare Xavier Joubert, Oxfam Qatari Director Mohsen Siddiqui, Director of Care organization Ron Nrant ,and Programme Director of the Danish Council, Gyong Hong, reviewed the interventions of organizations , the activities, the projects that have implemented during the past period in the relief and development aspect.
Tawoos pointed out that the next phase will require redoubling efforts, developing the performance of humanitarian programs and expanding the organization’s target geographical reach, thereby alleviating the suffering of citizens.
He stressed that the Council was exerting best effort and would exert its best endeavors to overcome the difficulties that organizations faced during carrying out their humanitarian work.
AbdulMohsen called on the organizations to increase their humanitarian activity according to the citizens’ need plan.
Attendees praised the positive interaction of the Secretary-General of the Council and his efforts to overcome the difficulties faced the organizations.
