Destruction of 7 tons of rotten medicines of ACF Organization in Hodeidah.
The Attorney of contraventions and the branch of the Supreme Council for The Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Hodeidah province today destroyed seven tons of expired medicines and supplements belonging to the Organization for Action against Hunger in the province.
The destruction operation was carried out in the presence of the member of the prosecution for violations, judge Abdul Hakim Abu Al-Asar, Acting Registrar Ahmad Al-Abdali and Field Operations Officer in the branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Razhi.
The damaged and seized quantity in stores in the organization includes 48 varieties of antibiotics, nutrients, intravenous fluids, amphes, vitamins, ointments .
This material was destroyed after all legal procedures have been completed, and confirming that they are unfit, misstored, exposed to heat and excessive humidity levels, which may cause health and environmental damage.
