Tawoos meets with Qatari representative of Mercy Corps .

The Secretary General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, AbdulMohsen Tawoos, met today with the Qatari Director of Mercy Corps Stephen.

The meeting discussed the activities and projects implemented by the organization and the extent to which it is keeping up with the needs, especially in the difficult circumstances that Yemen is going through as a result of the aggression and the blockade.

He stressed the need for projects to be in accordance with the needs raised by the Council and focus on priority projects. He also pointed out that the current year 2020 is the year of economic recovery and reliance on the development aspect.

He pointed out the importance of transparency in the bidding procedures for all organizations.

Stephen stressed that the organization is committed to working in accordance with the needs plans that meet the needs of the community. He also praised the council’s cooperation in facilitating the work of the organization.
