Discuss the activities of MSF.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation Abdelmohsen Tawoos met today with representatives of the French, Dutch and Swiss organizations Médecins Sans Frontières.
The meeting, which was attended by the Head of the Department of International Cooperation, Manaa Al-Asal, discussed ways of cooperation between the Council and the organization to enhance the humanitarian work of the organization.
Tawoos stressed the need to intensify health activity, especially in light of the spread of epidemics. He pointed out the importance of responding to any emergency and paying attention to the implementation of projects for incurable and chronic diseases. He als pointed out that the Council is making and will make effort to overcome the difficulties faced by organizations in the face of their humanitarian work.
For their part, the representatives of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) praised the Supreme Council and provided the necessary facilities for the organization to make the organization’s humanitarian work a success. He called on the Council to extend the licenses of the organization’s projects.
