The Supreme Council and the Food Programme discuss the implementation plan of humanitrian project.

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs( SCMCHA) Abdul Mohsen Tawoos discussed today with WFP Resident Representative in Yemen Laurent Boukira the operational plan to complete the procedures for implementing the registration of beneficiaries of assistance in accordance with agreed priority criteria.

The meeting, which was attended by the headof the International Cooperation Department, Manaa al-Asal, Faisal Medhsh and the Technical Committee of the Council, and Anwar al-Ahaji, discussed the humanitarian activities of the programme in Hajjah and Al-Dallaa governorates.

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council stressed the keenness to overcome the difficulties, find necessary solutions and solve problemes to ensure the progress of the activities agreed between the Council and the program in order to serve the course of humanitarian action and alleviate the suffering of citizens.

For his part, the Resident representativ OF the food program stressed the importance of starting the operational step of project and programes that will support the needy and the affected as well as achievethe objective of humanitarian action.
