A workshop in Sana’a in the field of agricultural exension.
The Supreme Council for The Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (SCMCHA) launched today a workshop to train trainers in the field of agricultural extension.
The five-day workshop aims to train a number of agricultural guides at the Thala Aman and Hamedan departments in Sana’a as part of the project to improve the livelihoods of small farmers for the plant in a series of courses in the same area to be implemented in the future.
At the opening, project officer Abdullah Abu Taleb stressed the keenness to set up such workshops aimed at enhancing farmers’ awareness of the trend towards agriculture, which contributes to improving the quality of agricultural products and achieving economic advancement.
He urged participants to enrich the workshop with observations and proposals to come up with effective recommendations that serve farmers and reflect positively on the field of agricultural work.
