Head of international cooperation reveals reasons for decision to cut humanitarian aid
The head of the International Cooperation Department at the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Manaa al-Asal, confirmed on Thursday that the decision to reduce aid in Yemen is a political decision that is far from the major humanitarian considerations and an attempt to make pressure on the national parties.
Al-Asal clarified in an intervention on Al-Masirah channel that the decision to reduce aid coincided with a major military escalation as well as reveals how UN trade in the suffering of the Yemenis with open American payment.
Yesterday, the Supreme Council held the WPF and Donors responsible for the humanitarian consequences of the decision to reduce aid, stressing that the decision of the World Food Program to reduce aid is a coup against the signed agreement.
