Discussion of the humanitarian situation in Al-Jawf governorate.
A meeting in Sana’a today, in the presence of the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, and The Governor of Al-Jawf Amer al-Marani, discussed the humanitarian situation in the province and its basic needs for relief and service projects.
At the meeting, which was attended by the head of the Department of International Cooperation, Manaa al-Asal, Tawoos stressed the importance of preparing plans for the needs of the province’s infrastructure and service projects, including projects that contribute to the advancement of the humanitarian situation exacerbated by the aggression and the blockade five years ago.
He stressed the importance of concerted efforts by all to enhance steadfastness in the face of challenges and work towards self-sufficiency.
Governor Al-Marani praised the Humanitarian Council’s efforts to improve the humanitarian situation and direct support to Yemen on the right way to meet actual needs, thereby contributing to alleviating human suffering.
The meeting was attended by the director of the council’s branch in Al-Jawf Khaled Shaga, director of the Directorate of Bart Al-Marashi Adnan Al-Ghad, and the directors of legal and administrative affairs and internal review of the Council Abdullah al-Khazan, Hussein al-Muayyad and Yahya Alama.
