Discussing the difficulties facing the emergency cash transfer project.
A meeting, held today in Sana’a chaired by Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Obaid Salem Bin Dabaa, discussed the difficulties facing the process of disbursing emergency cash transfers to beneficiaries of the Social Welfare Fund in its eighth session.
The meeting, which included the head of International Cooperation at the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Manaa al-Asal, the head of the single -window sector Hamza al-Mukhtar and director of unicef’s emergency cash transfer project, Dr. Shirin Varke, discussed the necessary solution to overcome the difficulties in the functioning of the drainage committees.
At the meeting, the Minister of Social Affairs praised the support of the World Bank and UNICEF for the implementation of the cash transfer project in the earlier stages, stressing that the project will contribute to alleviating the suffering of citizens, especially in light of the continuing aggression and blockade.
Meanwhile, the head of the Department of International Cooperation confirmed that the Supreme Council is making every effort to continue the project and improve the living situation of citizens.
