Meeting in Omran discusses the needs of development projects for the province.
A meeting in Omran province today, chaired by Governor Dr. Faisal Jaman, Secretary General of SCMCHA Abdul Mohsen Tawoos and program advisor of UNOPS Khaldoon Salem Saleh, discussed the governorate’s needs for development and service projects.
At the meeting, which was attended by the provincial Secretary General Saleh al-Makhlous and deputy governor Amin Faras, the governor, Jaman, clarified the most important projects that Omran City needs in the fields of health, education, water, hygiene, improvement, works, sanitation and roads.
He pointed out the importance of completing the Project asphalted in Al-Samad Street, supporting the May 22 hospital, the cleaning fund and providing a waste diversion plant and a dump.
in turn , the Secretary General of SCMCH confirmed that the Council was keen to follow up the organizations’ financing of emergency development projects in Omran province, pointing out that the completion of the road project has priority,support sewage ,solar projects for water wells and lighting for the main streets.
The programme advisor at the United Nations Office of Project Services referred that there are projects in various areas targeted by the organization in 12 provinces, including Omran.
The directors of water, hygiene and works reviewed the studies on the development projects needed by the province.
