Discussion of coordination between the Supreme Council, human rights and maternal and Child council.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation Abdul Mohsen Tawoos met today with Acting Minister of Human Rights Ali Al-Dilmi.
Tawoss Discussed ways to activate the partnership between SMCHA , the Ministry , and the relevant authorities to serve the humanitarian issues and rights of the Yemeni people as well as discussing violations by aggression’s countries.
Tawoos confirmed the importance of preparing human rights files to internationalize them in accordance with internationally applicable principles, which will have a legal and human rights impact by international standards.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Council, Mana’a al-Asal, Assistant Head of the Department of International Cooperation Ali Al-Kahlani and Advisor to the Ministry of Human Rights Hamid Al-Rafiq.
In addition, the Secretary-General of SCMCHA discussed today with the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for maternal and Child, Akhalag al-Shami, ways to strengthen cooperation between the two councils, especially the issues of children in contact with the law.
The meeting touched on the role of supervisory and executive authorities in the design and protection of children’s policies and implementation of planned plans.
