Coordination meeting to discuss the formation of committees of the Rural Resilience Promotion Project in the second Phase .

A meeting held in Sana’a, in the presence of the head of the International Cooperation Department of the Council of Humanitarian Affairs, Mana’a al-Asal, the head of the Single window department Hamza al-Mukhtar, undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Difallah Shamlan, deputy head of the Council’s Department of International Cooperation Ali Al-Kahlani, and representatives of organizations from the Development Programme, the World Food Programme, the International Labour Organization and FAO, discussed the mechanism of forming committees, tasks and specialties to begin the implementation of the project to strengthen resilience in the Yemeni countryside in its second phase.

The meeting reviewed the achievements of the previous phase and the action plan for the next phase of the project and ways to provide the necessary support to facilitate all procedures and solve the difficulties as well as the roles of the participating UN organizations.

The meeting was in the presence of The Director General of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Agriculture Hussein Hammoud Sharafuddin and director general of international organizations of the Council Turki Jamil.
