Prime Minister praises SCMCHA’s activity.
Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor praised the activity of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation during the past period, and his efforts to strengthen relations with international and UN organizations working in the humanitarian field.
This came after the Prime Minister met today with Secretary General of the Supreme Council Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, who briefed him on the council’s activity and the understandings reached with the World Food Programme to alleviate the suffering of citizens fuelled by the continued aggression, the Saudi-Emirati blockade and their economic war that has been going on for nearly six years.
He confirmed the council’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with all organizations working in Yemen in coordination with various ministries and related authorities.
The Prime Minister also confirmed the importance of strengthening the level of coordination between the various stakeholders and working together to facilitate humanitarian activities and overcome the difficulties before them in order to serve the common interest in reducing the suffering of citizens and confronting famine, which threatens millions of them.
