Discussion of the mechanisms of SCMCH’s work and tasks of during the current year.

A meeting held today in Sana’a chaired by the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for The Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos discussed the objectives, functions and mechanisms of the work of SCMCHA during current year.

The meeting, which included the heads of departments of the Secretariat and a number of directors-general, addressed the difficulties and challenges facing the implementation of the work and appropriate solutions and remedies that contribute to achieving the objectives of the next phase and facilitating the course of humanitarian work in the light of the difficult conditions imposed by the blockade and aggression.

The meeting indicating the importance of raising the achievement reports, implement plans, activate follow-up as well as evaluation and prepare the humanitarian need plan in coordination with the relevant authorities to promote humanitarian and development work.

Tawoos confirmed the importance of working in a team spirit and working hard to overcome any difficulties that may arise in the field of work in order to enhance the positive and active role of the work of the Council within the framework of the tasks and terms of reference assigned to it.
