Discussion of the referral system for beneficiaries of the emergency cash transfer project

The Head of the Department of International Cooperation at the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, Mana’a al-Asal, discussed today with the Executive Director of the Social Welfare Fund Amir al-Wraith the coordination aspects of the project to refer to the most affected beneficiaries according to the priorities of need in the field of health, nutrition, education and other services.

In the meeting, which was attended by the head of the Council’s Single Window Department, hamza al-Mukhtar, the head of the Department of International Cooperation confirmed the importance of establishing working mechanisms to ensure the provision of services to the beneficiaries in order to alleviate the human suffering caused by the aggression and the blockade.

He also confirmed the importance of coordination between stakeholders and work in accordance with clear criteria and an understanding of the roles and responsibilities to achieve the humanitarian objectives of implementing the referral system for beneficiaries of emergency cash transfers.

The meeting was in the presence of the Fund’s Director of Beneficiaries Development, Arafat Al-Salhi, and the Director of International Organizations of the Council, Turki Jamil.
