NAMCHA Director met the two Deputy of Red Cross

NAMCHA Director, Abdulmohsen Al-Tawoos, met today with the Deputy Heads of the International Red Cross Mission Freya Rady and Alexander Ikoy.

 During the meeting, which was attended by the Deputy Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs for the Coordination Sector, Faisal Modhesh, they discussed issues related to the aid provided by the mission in Al-Dhalea  governorate and the necessary solutions to the problems facing the aid distribution mechanism in a number of directorates.

 The meeting also went over the obstructions that face humanitarian partners workers in a number of directorates in Hodeida  governorate as well as the mechanism of solution and joint coordination with the state authorities and ways to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian teams to areas which suffer from a bad humanitarian situation as a result of the siege and aggression.

 The Head of the Humanitarian Affairs stressed the eagerness of the organization to overcome the difficulties that may face the organizations working in the humanitarian field, especially the Red Cross Mission.

 He also pointed out the need to strengthen the coordination aspects between the mission and the Humanitarian Affairs Authority in order to achieve the development of work mechanisms in various fields. In turn, Freya Dari praised the cooperation of the authorities in the governorates of Dali and Hodeida, pointing out that the Red Cross is concerned to contribute to alleviating the humanitarian crisis to the extent that provides the most appropriate needs for those affected by the current events.

  Alexander Ekoy also expressed his gratitude for the interaction of the commission of Humanitarian Affairs with the problems faced by the Red Cross Mission.
