Discussion of a number of UNFPA projects in Yemen

The head of the Department of International Cooperation, Mana’a Al-Asal, met today with the representative of the United Nations Population Fund in Yemen, Nestor Omohanji.

During the meeting, a number of UNFPA projects were discussed in the areas of protection, emergency response and psychological care.

In the meeting, the head of the Department of International Cooperation confirmed the importance of continuous coordination to ensure that projects progress in a positive way that ensures the achievement of the desired goals.

He pointed out the importance of focusing on the process of selecting the partners implementing the projects in accordance with criteria and frameworks to ensure good selection, which contributes to moving the course of humanitarian work in all areas.
