Tawoos briefs on the conditions of the 48 model hospital in Sana’a.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for The Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation Abdul Mohsen Tawoos was briefed today on the conditions and needs of the 48 model hospital.
Tawoos inspected the level of medical services in diagnostic and nursing departments, and the conditions of patients in specialized departments.
Tawoos also listened from the director of the hospital, Brigadier General Abdul Malik Al-Salmi, the explanation of the difficulties facing the hospital and its urgent needs in providing humanitarian services to the wounded and the efforts of the medical staff, despite the difficulties faced by the hospital in oil derivatives as a result of the ban on fuel ships by aggression countries.
Dr. Al-Selmi addressed the services and departments that have been added and the clinical expansion in the intensive care department and the departments of monitoring to ensure that quality standards are applied in the services provided according to the available possibilities.
Tawoos appreciated steadfastness of the hospital’s leadership and medical staff in light of the continuing aggression and siege that caused the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.
He confirmed the readiness of the Humanitarian Affairs Council to provide the hospital’s requirements in accordance with the possibilities available in coordination with humanitarian partners, enabling the hospital to continue to provide services and alleviate the suffering of patients.
