Discussion UNDP projects and interventions

The head of the International Cooperation Department of SCMCHA Mana’a al-Asal, discussed today with the head of the Good Governance Team in the UNDP, Lucy Matthews, aspects of joint cooperation.

The meeting, which was held in Sana’a via a televised circuit, touched on aspects related to the maritime governance project that supports the Coast Guard in the Red Sea, in fields of training, capacity building and provision of equipment, as well as discussing the necessary arrangements for the annual consultative meeting of donors related to the rule of law.

Al Asal considered the government’s maritime project as base for the rehabilitation of the Red Sea ports in order to improve the navigational activity, as well as restore the vital role of the ports.

The meeting was attended by the Director of UNd and International Organizations of SCMCHA,Turki Jamil, and the Director of Programs in the Program, Aline Hamza.
