The National Authority condemns the murder of three captives of army and popular committees .
The National Authority for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs condemned the brutal crime committed by mercenaries of aggression against three captives of the army and the Popular Committees in Marib.
The Authority clarified in a statement on Saturday, that this crime is contrary to all customs and humanitarian laws where it demonstrates the hatred of mercenaries and their separation from all humanitarian principles.
The Authority stressed that this crime is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, which criminalizes the killing, torture, and inhuman treatment of captives.
” This crime is not the first but an extension of a series of killings and targeting of captives” , the Authority states.
The National Authority of Humanitarian Affairs called the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) as well relevant international organizations to condemn these crimes and protect captives .
The statement also called on civil society organizations to monitor and document this crime and other crimes and crimes. work to submit files to punish people who do these crimes
