Tawoos inaugurates the distribution of 2000 food baskets in the Bait Al-Faqih district in Al-Hodeidah.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, and the First Undersecretary of Al-Hodeidah Governorate, Ahmed Al-Bishri, inaugurated today in the Bait Al-Faqih district the distribution of 2000 food baskets to families affected by the aggression provided by the Yemeni Orphan Care Organization for Development.
Tawoos explained that the distribution of food baskets comes within the framework of the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council, and the interest of SCMCHA in alleviating the suffering of those affected by the humanitarian catastrophe that the country is going through as a result of the aggression and siege.
He confirmed the importance of organizations playing their humanitarian role by providing food and shelter assistance to the affected families.
Tawoos appreciated the efforts of the Yemeni Orphan Care Organization for development in implementing this project, which will contribute to alleviating the suffering of families in the affected areas by the aggression in Beit al-Faqih district.
The First Undersecretary of the Governorate, Ahmed Al-Bishri, appreciated the efforts of SCMCHA in alleviating the suffering of citizens affected by the aggression, through its role in implementing development, relief and humanitarian projects.
Al-Bishri appreciated the interest of the Leader of the Revolution, the Political Council and the Salvation Government in the people of Hodeidah Governorate, as well as their keenness to provide them with all services.
He affirmed the support of the local authority leadership for all the activities of organizations aimed at alleviating the suffering of the population, and its keenness to overcome the difficulties in front of them.
The inauguration was attended by the deputy director of SCMCHA branch in Hodeidah, Abdullah Al-Ahdal, the director of the Bait Al-Faqih district, Hussein Sahel, and the representative of SCMCHA in the district, Abdullah Al-Saidi.
