Inspect the situation and needs of IDP in Al-Dhahi and Al-Qanas districts in Al-Hodeidah.
Director of SCMCHA branch in Hodeidah, Jaber Al-Razhi, and the Deputy Regional Director for the Middle East at OCHA, Tariq Talahah, visited the camps for the displaced in Al-Dhahi and Al-Qanas districts in Hodeidah Governorate.
Al-Razehi was briefed on the collapsed living conditions of IDP in the camps as a result of the ongoing aggression and siege.
Al-Razhi called for the importance of working to provide the basic needs of IDP to alleviate their suffering, stressing that SCMCHA is working to overcome all difficulties and facilitate the work of organizations in humanitarian work.
In turn, Talamah pointed out that the humanitarian situation of IDP is critical and needs urgent intervention to provide the needs of the displaced to alleviate their suffering.
He appreciated the role of SCMCHA and its branch in Hodeidah in facilitating the work of organizations to alleviate the suffering of the displaced by working to deliver aid to those who deserve it.
The visit was attended by the Deputy Director of the OCHA Office in Yemen Andrea Noyce, the Director of the OCHA Office in Hodeidah Hazem Al-Jundi and representatives of SCMCHA in the districts of Al-Dhahi and Al-Qanaws.
