NAMCHA DIRECTOR DISSCUSED WITH AGRICULTURE MINISTRY AND FAO THE COORPRATION OF AGRICLTURE RELIEF AFFORTS
The head of the National Authority for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Abdulmohsen Tawoos, on Wednesday, discussed with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Eng. Majid Al-Mutawakkil, and the representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) a number of topics related to the humanitarian and developmental aspect and the problems facing nutrition and agricultural work.
The meeting dealt with a number of projects and the rationale for the field implementation by the cadres working in the humanitarian field, and the coordination mechanism between the Authority and the state organs and relevant organizations.
The head of the Authority that the humanitarian response plan came on the basis of concrete and confined needs of the ground, which was counted and studied by a group of specialists from various institutions of the state and members of the community concerned.
The head of Authority assured that humanitarian action is no longer likely to slow down further obstacles, especially in light of the escalation of the siege and aggression imposed on the country.
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture expressed his appreciation for the coordination between the FAO and the various state organs , which will achieve a state of efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of humanitarian assistance and improve aspects of relief.
He explained that the Ministry of Agriculture and through the Authority of Humanitarian Affairs is working to overcome the difficulties in front of serious efforts to relief those affected by the brutal aggression on the homeland.
The meeting was attended by Deputy of the Authority Faisal Modhesh, Hamza Al-Mukhtar and a number of officials in the relevant Authorities
