Discussing fields of coordination to support the implementation of water and environment projects.
A meeting in Sana’a today, which included the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamali, and the Minister of Water and Environment, Eng-Abdul-Raqib Al-Shurmani, discussed coordination mechanisms between the Ministry and SCMCHA in supporting the implementation of water and sanitation projects.
The meeting, in the presence of the Head of the Planning and Evaluation Department at SCMCHA , Faisal Modhish, touched on package of topics related to coordination and cooperation mechanisms between the Ministry of Water and Environment and SCMCHA.
The meeting confirmed the importance of working hard to develop and expand areas of coordination to ensure the provision of services as well as the resumption of work on suspended projects and work in line with the need plan submitted by the Ministry of Water and Environment.
In the meeting, the Secretary-General of SCMCHA pointed out the importance of expediting the discussion of the projects and their compatibility with the plan of need, the development of solutions and addressing the problems facing the implementation of water projects.
In turn, the Minister of Water and Environment indicated the ministry’s keenness to enhance coordination with SCMCHA in order to support its efforts in implementing its programs and plans related to improving water, sanitation and environmental sanitation services.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Office of the Secretary-General of SCMCHA Affairs, Alaa Al-Din Al-Sawari.
