Discussion the projects and interventions of Save The Children organization .
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamali, discussed today with the Acting Representative of Save The Childern Organization in Yemen, Gillian Moyes, ways to enhance cooperation between SCMCHA and the organization.
The Secretary General of SCMCHA, in the presence of the head of the planning department, Faisal Modhish and head of International Cooperation, Ali Al-Kahlani, confirmed the importance of unifying and coordinating efforts, in a way that serves the humanitarian work.
Al Hamali pointed to the importance of expanding the activities of Save The Children Organization to alleviate the suffering of Yemeni children who are exposed to death as a result of the bombing of the air and who are going through difficult humanitarian conditions as a result of the continued aggression and siege.
Al-Hamali pointed to the importance of implementing projects that serve the citizen in the first place, stressing the importance of the projects’ compatibility with the needs plans submitted by the relevant authorities.
In turn , the acting representative of Save The Children Organization appreciated the efforts of SCMCHA in humanitarian work.
She stressed keenness to strengthen cooperation with SCMCHA to provide all aspects of humanitarian support to alleviate the suffering of Yemenis.
She indicated to the organization’s efforts that contribute of alleviating the suffering of Yemeni children by denouncing violations as well as calling for the prevention of arms deals that are used against Yemeni children.
The meeting was attended by the project manager of Save the Childern Organization, Mustafa Al-Rahman.
