Al-Hamali discusses with the Minister of Health humanitarian interventions in the health sector
The Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel, discussed with the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation Ibrahim Al-Hamali, the humanitarian and health interventions of organizations in the health sector according to priorities.
At the meeting, the Minister of Health explained that the health sector be worse due to the blockade, aggression, and the continued closure of Sana’a Airport, and its suffering has increased by preventing the entry of oil derivatives.
He pointed out the importance of the role that humanitarian organizations should play in order to put pressure on lifting the siege and alleviating the suffering of patients.
For his part, the Secretary-General of SCMCHA confirmed the importance of providing the necessary support to support the health sector ,provide the need and rapid response according to the priorities of need raised by the authorities.
Al-Hamali also stressed SCMCHA’s keenness on the process of coordination between the parties and overcoming difficulties in front of the work of humanitarian organizations to provide services to the Yemeni citizen.
