Discussing the projects of MdM Organization in Yemen.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, discussed today with the Deputy Head of the French Médecins du Monde mission, Majed Taleb, the organization’s projects in the field of health.
The meeting, which was attended by the head of the International Cooperation Department of SCMCHA, Ali Al-Kahlani, reviewed the aspects of humanitarian work and the coordination mechanism between the organization and SCMCHA to provide the actual needs, and the problems encountered in this aspect.
Al-Hamli pointed out the importance of coordinating the organization with SCMCHA in implementing projects and moving from emergency to sustainable, in order to avoid problems that might face the implementation of its various activities.
In turn, the deputy head of the mission affirmed the organization’s commitment to coordinating with the SCMCHA.
He also appreciated the facilities it provides to humanitarian partners in Yemen.
The meeting was attended by the Director-General of International Organizations Department of SCMCHA, Turki Jamil, and from the Médecins du Monde, the liaison officer, Ahmed Al-Ramah.
