The Secretary General of SCMCHA meets the head of TYF.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, met today with the head of Tamdeen Youth Foundation, the coordinator of the two initiatives for the settlement of humanitarian work, Hussein Al-Suhaili.
The meeting reviewed aspects related to coordination with civil society organizations, and intensifying efforts in humanitarian work to alleviate the suffering of citizens as a result of the aggression and siege that caused the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.
Al-Hamli affirmed SCMCHA support for the initiatives of civil society organizations and the encouragement of efforts made in the humanitarian aspect.
He pointed out the importance of participatory planning and coordination before implementing projects to overcome gaps and difficulties in accordance with procedures and laws.
He stressed the SCMCHA readiness to facilitate all organizations’ work and activities.
He indicated that SCMCHA priorities are people’s health and economic security, pointing out that the council looks at everyone with one eye in humanitarian interventions, away from any discrimination or preference between one person and another regardless of different affiliations.
Al-Suhaili affirmed the Foundation’s keenness to coordinate with SCMCHA, praising the facilities that provides to civil society organizations.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of Local Organizations and Partners of SCMCHA, Abdul Salam Al-Nawab, the Foundation’s Advocacy Officer, Ammar Al-Ashwal, the Director of the Humanitarian Localization Program, Abdul Qawi Hajeb, and the Relations Officer with Governmental Entities, Adnan Aklan.
