Discussion aspects of cooperation between SCMCHA and the International Rescue Committee
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, discussed with the Director of Operations at the International Rescue Committee Zelka Tabsha and the Committee’s advisor, Maria Duncan, cooperation and coordination between SCMCHA and IRC.
Al Hamli, in the presence of the Head of the Planning and Evaluation Department of SCMCHA, Faisal Modhish, stressed the importance of developing work mechanisms to enhance the actual partnership that would advance humanitarian work, serve the beneficiaries and provide services to those affected.
He indicated to the importance of commitment to the principles of humanitarian action, in a way that contributes to the implementation of projects to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people in light of the continued aggression and siege.
For his part, the Director of Operations at IRC affirmed that the Committee is doing everything it can to support humanitarian efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.
He appreciated the facilities provided by SCMCHA to IRC in carrying out its humanitarian tasks.
