A workshop to discuss the plan of Save the Children Organization.
A consultative workshop was held today with the ministries and concerned parties in coordination with the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, to discuss the country’s strategic plan for Save the Children Organization.
At the inauguration of the workshop, the Head of the Planning Department of SCMCHA, Faisal Modhesh, confirmed the importance of discussing and defining priorities, needs and ways to provide them and transform them from emergency to sustainable aid.
Modhish called for focusing on projects to Save Children, providing them with the necessary services, and reducing operational budgets for the benefit of the beneficiaries to alleviate the severity of the catastrophic humanitarian situation as a result of the aggression and the unjust siege.
He referred to the role of SCMCHA in the coordination process and mobilizing efforts to discuss and identify needs for the success of the organizations’ interventions in the humanitarian and development aspects as well as the importance of focusing on projects that serve beneficiaries and alleviate their suffering.
For her part, the representative of the Save the Children Organization, Rama Henserj, stressed the importance of coordination within the framework of joint and effective humanitarian action between humanitarian organizations working in Yemen, ministries and concerned parties to achieve common humanitarian objectives.
She stated that one of the objectives of the workshop is to come up with a common vision to advance humanitarian work and provide services according to the actual needs in the field.
She appreciated the positive role of SCMCHA in the process of coordinating and facilitating the work of humanitarian organizations in Yemen.
The two-day workshop, in the presence of representatives of the Ministries of Education, Health, Social Affairs, Labour, Agriculture, Irrigation, Water, Environment, Technical Education and Training, discusses multiple topics within the framework of

to come up with an action plan in line with the priorities of the actual needs in the field.
The participants confirmed their keenness to achieve the objectives of the workshop by coming up with a need plan within the framework of setting priorities for effective support and assistance in providing services to the beneficiaries.
