Al-Hamli discusses with the Regional Director of UNIDO areas of joint cooperation.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, discussed today with the Regional Director of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization Basil Al-Khatib, cooperation in the field of supporting industrial facilities.
The two sides discussed, via video technology, in the presence of the head of the Planning Department of SCMCHA, Faisal Modhish, and the participation of the project coordinator of UNDIO, Paul Gattalian, on aspects related to the basic agreement between Yemen and UNIDO.
Al-Hamli confirmed SCMCHA keenness to find humanitarian projects of a sustainable development nature that contribute to meeting the needs of citizens and alleviating their suffering.
He indicated that the projects could be implemented through local partners until the completion of the signing of the basic agreement.
In turn, Al-Khatib and Jatalian appreciated the role of SCMCHA in coordinating and facilitating the work of the organization.
The meeting was attended by the administrative official of UNIDO, Abdulaziz Al Khulani.
