Discussing the interventions of the Norwegian Refugee Council in Hodeidah .
A meeting at the National Authority for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs(NAMCHA ) in Hodeidah discussed on Saturday the possibility to implement Norwegian Refugee Council a package of emergency and sustainable response projects in the governorate for the year 2019-2020.
In the meeting the Director of the branch of the National Authority for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs Jaber Al-Razhi praised the Norwegian Council for projects and services that touch the needs of citizens.
The Council called for including the reconstruction of schools destroyed by the plane of aggression and the rebuilding and expansion of damaged schools as well as the development of school buildings for the displaced within the plans of need for the Council.
The director of the Norwegian Refugee Council in Hodeidah and Hajja Provinces Izik Eco appreciate the National Authority’s cooperation and it is work with the Council to overcome difficulties and make it easy for workers during the implementation of activities in the targeted districts.
He pointed out that the Council is currently implementing a number of projects in the education sector in the Zahra and Sokhna directorates.
He also pointed out that there are projects under study in the water sector a number of directorates, will be implemented within the framework of the plans of the Council.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Director of the Authority’s branch Abdullah Al-Ahda.
