Discussing Hajjah Governorate’s need for water projects

A meeting held today in Sana’a by the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, and the Governor of Hajjah, Hilal Al-Sufi, to discussed the governorate’s need for water and sanitation projects.

They reviewed the projects that the governorate needs as an emergency priority in the areas of water and priority service projects in the governorate.

Al-Hamli confirmed the SCMCHA keenness to coordinate and direct the projects submitted by the organizations to implement service and development projects in accordance with the plans and priorities of the actual needs of the governorate.

For his part, Governor Al-Sufi appreciated the efforts of SCMCHAl in coordinating and directing the financing of projects according to the need plans submitted by the relevant authorities.

He pointed out that Hajjah Governorate is in dire need of many service projects, especially in the areas of water and sanitation.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Electricity Abdul-Ghani Al-Madani, Head of the Planning Departments Faisal Modhish, director of International Cooperation department, Ali Al-Kahlani, Director of International Organizations department Turki Jamil, director of Monitoring and Evaluation department Muhammad Al-Razzaa and Director General of the Rural Electricity Authority Hassan Al-Dailami.
