Sana’a: Meeting discusses issues related to the multisectoral survey.
The head of the National Authority for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs( NAMCHA), Abdulmohsen Tawoos, discussed today with the Deputy Head of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) John McQueu, the topics related to the multisectoral survey that would be implement in various governorates and districts.
The meeting, which was attended by the Central Agency of Statistics Advisor, Dr. Ammar Al-Saqqaf, and the central agency’s agent, Fares Al-Jahmi, look over the details of the procedures of evaluating the survey forms. They also focused on the data and implementing what was agreed and approved in order to start training researchers and surveyors.
At the meeting, the head of the Humanitarian Affairs Authority said that any survey should be discussed with the concerned authority represented by the Central Agency of Statistic.
He mentioned to the necessity to expedite the completion of the survey process because of its importance in determining the actual need and the development of response plans to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The head of Authority stressed that the main objective of the establishment of the Authority is to overcome the difficulties, facilitate the work of organizations ,and support humanitarian work to ensure the provision of urgent humanitarian needs.
The meeting was attended by the Authority’s agent for the Humanitarian Cooperation sector ,Mana’a al Asl.
