Al-Hamali discusses with the director of GIZ joint coordination.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, discussed today with the Director of the German International Cooperation Agency “GIZ” in Yemen, Mark Schumacher, aspects of cooperation between SCMCHA and the Agency.
Al Hamli, in the presence of the head of the International Cooperation Department, Ali Al-Kahlani, and head of Planning Department Faisal Madhish, confirmed the importance of the agency’s implementation of development and service projects that contribute to alleviating the worst human crisisin the world as a result of the aggression and siege that has continued for eight years.
He pointed to the importance of enhancing coordination between SCMCHA and the Agency to facilitate the Agency’s work and activities in various fields and implement the tasks entrusted to it.
He called for expanding the Agency’s projects in Yemen, stressing SCMCHA readiness to provide all necessary facilities for its work.
For his part, the director of GIZ affirmed the commitment to cooperate with SCMCHA.
He appreciated SCMCHA efforts in providing facilities to the agency and all organizations operating in Yemen.
The meeting was attended by the directors of Monitoring and evaluation, Mohammed Al-Razza’, and director of the bilateral cooperation, Hafez Al-Shoki.
