Yemen is currently exporting the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. Yemen has been on brink of the world’s worst famine in years, decades, or possibly a century as a result of the aggression and blockade that began about 8 years ago.
At a time when millions of people suffer from food insecurity, according to the Integrated Phase Classification Report for the year 2021, 5.1 million IDPs need various aids, while more than 1.1 million displaced people need food aid, amid severe humanitarian suffering, which was exacerbated by the reduction continuing aid and stopping some projects at a time when the camps lack the most basic necessities, and millions of displaced people need various aids, which has exacerbated human suffering.

SCMCHA affirmed that the number of IDPs have increased to 5,159,560 until the end of August 2022.
In a report issued by SCMCHA stated that the number of displaced families reached 740,122 families, while the number of displaced individuals reached 5,159,560 in 15 Yemeni governorates under the control of the Supreme Political Council.
The report pointed out that one million and 168 thousand and 664 displaced individuals do not receive aid so far, despite the continuous demands of organizations to uphold their role and obligations towards the IDPs.
Statistics of the displaced according to each governorate:
The report indicated that the number of displaced people in Amanat Al Asimah reached 694,127, and the number of displaced people in Al Hudaydah governorate reached 944,916.
In Hajjah governorate, the number of displaced people reached 791 thousand and 147, and the number of displaced people in Saada governorate reached 512 thousand and 526, and the number of displaced people in Taiz governorate reached 511 thousand and 231 displaced individuals.
The number of displaced people in Amran governorate has reached 294 thousand and 455 displaced individuals.
The report stated that the number of displaced persons in Dhamar governorate reached 275 thousand and 191 displaced individuals, and the number of displaced persons in Ibb governorate reached 226 thousand 177 displaced individuals.
In Sana’a governorate, the number of displaced people reached 211,253, and according to the report, the number of displaced people in Al-Jawf governorate reached 219,219.
While the number of displaced persons in Al-Bayda governorate reached 124 thousand and 432 displaced individuals.
The report also indicated that 155 thousand and 22 displaced individuals in Marib governorate.
While the number of displaced persons in Raymah governorate reached 62,608 individuals, and in Al-Mahweet governorate, the number of displaced persons reached 54,915 individuals.
In Al-Dhalea Governorate, the number of people reached 82,341 displaced persons.
