Al-Hamali briefs on the needs of the central reformatory in Hodeidah
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, was briefed today on the needs of the Central Correctional Facility in Hodeidah Governorate.
Al-Hamali, along with the Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Abdullah Al-Hadi, listened to an explanation from the director of the reformatory in the governorate, Colonel Muhammad Al-Sufi, on the level of services provided to inmates, the needs of the reformatory to develop and modernize its infrastructure, including maintenance and restoration in the reformatory buildings, and the difficulties facing the workflow and ways to address them.
Al-Hamli stressed the Humanitarian Affairs Council’s interest in the inmates of the reform, in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior and the Interest, and its concern to see the needs of the reformatory.
He pointed out that the visit of the central reformatory in Hodeidah comes after a series of visits to the Saada Correctional Facility and the Secretariat, to touch their needs.

The Secretary of General of SCMCHA pointed out the importance of preparing studies for the needs of the reformatory in the governorate, pointing out that SCMCHA will work to follow up the organizations whose work is related to this aspect, to support the reformatory and provide its needs
For his part, the Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior appreciated the visit of the Secretary-General of the Humanitarian Affairs Council and his keenness to find out the conditions and needs of the reformatory.
The visit was accompanied by the directors of local organizations, Abdel Salam Al-Nawab, and the Rehabilitation and Reform of the Prisons Authority, Brigadier General Adel Rizk Al-Badri
