Al-Hamli briefs on the needs of Hodeidah’s two dialysis centers.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, briefed today on the needs of the old dialysis center and the Martyr Al-Samad Centre for dialysis and kidney surgery in Hodeida governorate.
The Secretary-General of SCMCHA, along with representatives from the United Nations, international, and local organizations, visited the governorates with the center’s sections to inform them of their needs and the level of services provided to patients with renal failure.
They heard an explanation from Dr. Ayman Kamal, Director of the Laundry Centre, about the Centre’s need for devices and solutions, noting that the old and martyred centers received approximately 150 cases per day.
During the visit, Al-Hamli emphasized the importance of transferring patients from the Workers’ City dialysis center to the Martyr Al-Samad Dialysis Center.
He urged all Yemeni organizations to act quickly and fulfill their roles and responsibilities in supporting dialysis centers in Hodeida by urgently providing devices, solutions, and medicines to continue treating and saving patients’ lives..
Al-HamlI emphasized SCMCHA’s keenness , in collaboration with humanitarian partners, to alleviate the suffering of hundreds of kidney failure patients from other governorates or governorates.
They were accompanied during the visit by the Directors of Local Organizations, Abdulsalam Nawab, Follow-up and Evaluation, Mohammed Al-Raza, the Director General of Health in the governorate, Khaled Al-Madani, and the Deputy Director of the Branch of the Council in the governorate, Abdullah Al-Ahdal.
