President Al-Mashat meets with the Secretary General of SCMCHA.

His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Muhammad Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, met today with the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli.

During the meeting, they reviewed the worsening humanitarian situation in Yemen as a result of the continued aggression and blockade, and the efforts made by SCMCHA to focus humanitarian work on priority needs.

During the meeting, they discussed the worsening humanitarian crisis in Yemen as a result of the ongoing aggression and blockade, as well as the SCMCHA’s efforts to focus humanitarian assistance on urgent needs.

The meeting discussed areas of coordination between SCMCHA and humanitarian organizations, as well as the resources available to humanitarian action partners to carry out long-term operations and projects that help alleviate human suffering in the country.
