Al-Hamli meets the new representative of WHO in Yemen.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, met today with the new representative of the World Health Organization in Yemen, Arturo Bisiqan.
The meeting discussed ways to improve cooperation between the Council and the organization, as well as work on projects that contribute to reducing the worst human suffering in the world, which the Yemeni people have faced as a result of the aggression and siege.
The Secretary-General of SCMCHA, in the meeting, which was accompanied by the Head of the International Cooperation department, Ali Al-Kahlani, emphasized the Council’s eagerness to offer facilities for the mission and its workers to enable them to play their roles .
He emphasized the importance of coordination between SCMCHA and WHO in order to facilitate the organization’s interventions and activities in Yemen while achieving the joint goal of humanitarian work.

In turn, the WHO representive confirmed the organization’s commitment to continuing to conduct programs that alleviate human suffering in Yemen, particularly in the health sector, by collaborating to assure the effectiveness of humanitarian interventions..
