SCMCHA branch in Ibb governorate delivers cleaning equipment and lighting bulbs to the Cleaning Fund and the Public Works Office.
Within the framework of SCMCHA’s efforts to direct funding toward the implementation of development and service initiatives that meet citizen needs.
SCMCHA’s branch in Ibb Governorate, in the presence of the governorate’s governor, Abdel Wahed Salah, and the representative of (UNOPS), Khaled Basalamah, handed over to the governorate’s Cleaning and Improvement Fund eight waste transporting equipment, including seven shredders and shovels for lifting and transporting waste,at cost 500 million riyals, with the support of UNOPS.
SCMCHA’s branch also handed over 1,568 economic bulbs to the Office of Public Works and Roads to light various roadways in Ibb, which were supported by the World Bank via the United Nations Office for Project Services.
This aims to improve the environment and decrease the spread of diseases and epidemics, hence increasing the fund’s efficiency and ability to deliver services to citizens.
