Discuss aspects of coordination between SCMCHA and the Ministry of Works.
Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation,Ibrahim Al-Hamli, and Minister of Public Works and Roads, Ghaleb Mutlaq, discussed today the coordination of efforts between the Ministry and SCMCHA in implementing infrastructure projects.
During the discussion, the Secretary-General of SCMCHA emphasized the importance of reactivating coordination between SCMCHA and the Ministry with regard to infrastructure projects performed by humanitarian action partners, in order to contribute to the optimal development of activities.
The Minister of Works, for his part, emphasized his eagerness to collaborate with SCMCHA on numerous duties and works, the most important of which is the implementation of infrastructure projects.
He highlighted the significance of collaboration between the Ministry and SCMCHA in regulating the contracting and engineering sectors in order to overcome any gaps in this area.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of Monitoring and Evaluation, Muhammad Al-Razzaa, Director of local organizations department, Abdul Salam Al-Nawab.
