Secretary-General of the Supreme Council called on donors of UN to investigate the funding places in Yemen.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, AbdulMohsen Tawoos, on Saturday called on donors at the United Nations to investigate the places of funding that are being spent in Yemen. He pointed out that most projects are looted and go into the staff of UN organizations.
In a statement to Al-Masirha channel, Tawos said that ” the humanitarian organizations want to work in Sana’a without complying the laws to continue corruption and to manipulate aid”.
“We have documents that reveal the falsity of the accusations made by the UN authorities to the rescue government in Sana’a and we may have to uncover it,” he said.
He expressed his surprise at what the Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations had spoken to the Security Council, asking where is the humanitarian and international law in the face of the siege of Al-Darhimi and the major crimes in Yemen.
